Stop Pulling my Tail

Sapsucker Yellow bellied but very brave

Trumpeters and Cackling geese
White fronted geese moved in with the trumpeter swans this winter. Due to their call the nickname is ' cackling geese '.
White winged scoter
This is a white winged scoter. Not the name I would have chosen. Amazing, but these guys eat and digest the whole clam,...shell and all.
Oyster Catcher
Never saw one chase an oyster much less actually catch one. I think they need SPF 50 for those pale pink legs.
Amazing reflex
This fellow is at the far end of a bench I am sitting at. Because of a very dull day, the shutter speed is quite slow; almost a double click. This is an image of the reflex to the shutter noise. Now that is a fast response.
