Dragon Blue
Chalk blue and brown wings a not common at all around here. Wonder if these guys are less often seen? They look great in flight. Two dark bands supporting the light blue body when wings are buzzing.

Button pod lilly pad
This pond is only about 400 yards from the sea shore in a small park in Comox B.C.
Other inland ponds have lilly pad blooms in yellow yet there are no button like centers to them. A new variety to my eyes at least.

Have you seen this butterfly before? He is a new one to me. Only had a chance for one
