Dragon Blue
Chalk  blue  and  brown  wings  a  not  common  at  all  around  here.  Wonder  if  these  guys  are  less   often  seen?   They  look  great  in  flight.   Two  dark  bands  supporting  the  light  blue  body  when  wings  are  buzzing.

Button pod lilly pad
This  pond  is  only  about  400  yards  from  the  sea  shore  in  a  small  park  in   Comox  B.C.
Other inland ponds have lilly pad blooms in yellow yet there are no button like centers to them. A new variety to my eyes at least.

Butterfly lace
Have  you  seen  this  butterfly  before?   He  is  a  new  one  to  me.   Only  had  a  chance  for  one
image... facing away. Flew up high into the tree and out of sight. Oh well, better than no
image at all.

Butterfly..[ Tiny [
I   was  careful  not  to  crop  to  tight  on  this  tiny  BF.  ePhotozine.com  rejects  images  below  a
certain small size. Odd to see a touch of brown in the wing. Usually all blue. TG

PhotoTonyG: Wise Amusement
PhotoTonyG: Wise Amusement: After  a  long  lazy  scratching  session  this  old  raven   relaxed  while  regarding  me  with  what  seemed  like  amusement.   He  may  have  wondered  why  I  would  throw  treats  to  the  gulls. ...
