Secret Plateau is inside Courtenay boundary, yet 99% of residents are not aware of this area. 32 large residential lots have been surveyed and the digging for water and sewer lines is now under way. Many birds and mammals pictured here are taken on this plateau. View vistas are 360 degrees. Behind us are the snow covered Beaufort Mountains. Nice refuge going suburban. They are preserving a park area though. TG
