Towhee of the Rufus type

These  normally  prefer  to  turn  over  dead  leaves  under  bushes  for  food.  If  they  see  other  birds  coming  and  going  from  a  wooden  fence,  they  are  smart  enough  to  take  part  in  a  sunflower  seed  treat  feast.
